Name of Item: Agglomerated Flux LHSJ501
Execute standards: GB/T 5293-1999 F5A2-H08MnA;GB/T 12470-2003 F5A0-H08A;
(Equivalent to: AWS A5.23 F7A0-EM12K,F7AZ-EL8; EN 760 : A AB 1 67 AC);
Specification of flux:
The LHSJ501 flux is a type of aluminum and titanium base agglomerated flux, the basicity of 0.5 to 0.8 (acidic). The
welding flux SJ501 is characterized by its low Si & moderate Mn pickup and is suitable for single & multi-wire
welding as well as for welding by the two-run technique. It can be used on DC(+) or AC up to 1000 A. Its good welding
characteristics allow it to be used for fillet welding & for welding at high speeds.
Application of flux:
For the combination with welding wire H08MnA & H08MnMoA. The aluminum and titanium type flux is designed for making
the steel pipe and welding general structural steels; pressure vessel & pipe steel & fine grain structural steels.
The composition chemical of flux( %):
SiO2+TiO2: 20- 33; Al2O3+MnOT: 45-60; CaF2+FeO: 8.6;
S: 0.021max; P: 0.031 max; CaO+ MgO: -- ; Others: ---
